in-home consultation prior to starting service.

The in-home consultation gives you the opportunity to meet your primary pet sitter and give them detailed, first hand instructions. Each time we visit your pets, a report is generated by calling into the office. That official report is then transcribed and emailed to you. The next time you need to book the process is painless and easy.

Our visits don't end at just a walk and food. We provide customized service to meet the needs of each individual pet.

Cat Sitting, Cat Visits:

Whether you're going out of town for 2 days or 2 weeks, Flying Duchess Pet Care of Toronto can be counted on to provide safe and loving care for your pets while you are away. You can choose from 30, 60, or 90 min visits, scheduled to suit you and your pets' needs. We can stop by up to 3 times a day and can even provide overnight pet sitting!

Consultation:

If you are a new client, an in-home consultation will be scheduled (lasting approximately 30 minutes) and the sitter servicing your neighbourhood will come to your home to meet you and your pets, learn your pet’ routines, retrieve the key, and discuss any special concerns or requests you may have for your pet’s care.

Quality Assurance:

One of the foremost questions on your mind might be “How can I be sure the sitter arrived at the said time and spent it with my pets?�? At Flying Duchess we provide our clients with an added assurance and peace of mind by being able to provide verifiable confirmation of the sitter’s arrival and departure time. House Checks:

This is done on a visit basis, generally in accordance with your insurance requirements. It can include plant watering, checking of water pipes and basements, window and door security, and removal of flyers from the exterior of the home and any other requirements you may have.

In extremely cold weather we will make sure your water is running and pipes are not frozen. When heavy snow occurs we will clear the entranceway according to city bylaws and contact your snow removal service to schedule a visit.

Mid-Day Walks/ Regular Dog Walks:

This is a very popular service that we provide. This is particularly valuable for dog owners who work during the day and are reluctant to leave their pets for an extended period of time without exercise or affection. This is a very flexible service. It can range from 5 days per week on an ongoing basis, to an on-call service arranged on a daily basis. Our sitter will provide your pet with an exercise filled walk and play whenever needed.

Overnight Pet and House Sitting:

Overnight sitting includes feeding and playing with the pets, bringing in the mail and newspaper, taking garbage to curb, watering plants, two walks (a.m. and p.m.), scooping litter box daily, and of course, spending the night in your home with your pets. The love is free of charge.

$65/per night-1 dog or 1-2 kitties

$10/per night each additional dog

$15/per night for mid-day visit if needed

Live-in Care Service:

This premium service combines all the

elements of a regular pet sitting pet care. In

addition to the long term human companionship

for your pet will receive, the sitter can provide

ongoing house checks, regular dog walks and

any additional requested service.

You will be provided with a sitter specially

trained to meet the sensitive needs of your pet.
